Untitled[edit]

I shouldnt edit this directly as I'm not neutral, but if you want some basic info; born 5 April 1953 in Leeds. Grew up in Harrogate. Studied Chemical Engineering at UMIST from 1970 to 1973 (he went to uni as a 17 year old as he did school a year earlier). Became an accountant after uni, first for Yorkshire Electricity board then from 1978 for ICI, when he moved to Redcar. Also stood in the 2005 election. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.151.218.138 (talkcontribs)

Well that's good, but it needs a source for verification. Rd232 talk 12:36, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

What would be considered a proper source "moved to Redcar in 1978" or his political priorities? Is a politician's own publications proper sources about his own priorities? Or should we say "He has stated that ....". What about his basic biographical info? Do we need a copy of the 1978 electoral roll or is it enough that he has said this in locally published material and nobody has ever denied it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:130:400:1660:FDE1:3854:92AE:36EF (talk) 06:31, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
