the big fork

[edit]

I changed this article to read 'a different version of the future' rather than 'an alternate version of the future', which could be read as meaning it's an alternate history book. 203.17.70.237 03:20, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder whether Robinson started RGB intending it as a prequel to Icehenge, then found an incompatible story that he liked better. (I didn't notice any incompatibilities with Icehenge in Red, but they're glaring in Green.) —Tamfang (talk) 20:48, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Publication date

ISFDB says 1984, as does my copy. 203.221.18.217 14:33, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I question the inclusion in Category:Novels set on Pluto and Category:Novels set on Saturn. It's mostly on Mars (yet no Category:Novels set on Mars!), with a significant part on a ship in the asteroid belt, mentions of something found on Pluto and a brief visit to the Saturn system (not Saturn itself), unless I have forgotten something. (High time for a reread.) —Tamfang (talk) 16:13, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
