Adding that two additional snippets were released on 05/13/19 in the leadup to the album, for "A Boy is a Gun" [1] and "New Magic Wand" [2] which featured Santigold. Manthanmachine (talk) 14:35, 17 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Should the themes and narrative section be removed?

[edit]

Hey STATicVapor. I just read WP:Potentially unreliable sources and I been thinking, since the source is written by an unknown contributor of Forbes, should we removed the section off the article since the content is supported by an unreliable source. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 02:18, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I could support that. StaticVapor message me! 17:25, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@STATicVapor: Editor Nice4What added different sources in the section with this edit. What do you think of these sources? TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 16:41, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I believe NME and possibly DjBooth qualify as reliable sources. One Forbes reference remains however. StaticVapor message me! 21:49, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I initially added the whole "Themes and narrative" section and yes, the dissection of the opening track "Igor's Theme" only has the Forbes article cited. I'm hoping to find another reliable sources explains the song and the themes of the album before removing the paragraph. Nice4What (talk) 21:57, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the section related to a review by Rowan5215 on a community based music review service should be removed. This is not a professional source, and as that has typically been the criteria for including reviews, this does not belong. JerryLandis (talk) 00:08, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@JerryLandis: Sputnikmusic is an reliable source per WP:ALBUM/SOURCES. As long it is written by a staff and emeritus, it is classified as reliable. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 19:45, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bolded video album

[edit]

@TheAmazingPeanuts: To avoid an edit war, I just want to explain why I've bolded Apple Music Presents: Tyler, the Creator despite it not being in the lede. Going to Apple Music Presents: Tyler, the Creator redirects to the Promotion subsection of this article. See MOS:BOLDREDIRECT. Nice4What (talk · contribs) – (Don't forget to share a Thanks ) 21:59, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Nice4What: While I don't fully agreed that should be in bold text, but I let it be that way since it's in the guidelines. Sorry for the confusion. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 17:07, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
