This article needs something about what happen to this fucking guy the Clanton ranch, are they still in Arizonia, I see one has a website but no family history section on this article. Needs one.

June 26, 2007 - Added details about Ike's remains and his relatives attempts to have them exhumed and re-buried in Tombstone AZ. - Buckeyes1

Interesting. But can you please provide a cite for your information on Terry Clanton's recent activities in this regard? Since Tombstone is well known for its boosterism, I'm a little surprized that NOBODY there is interested in exhuming Ike and reburying him in Boot Hill. After all, the Clanton family (including Ike himself) did just this for Old Man Clanton. So why not do it for Ike? If Ike's actions in life can be taken as an indication of Ike's own wishes, it's probable he'd prefer to have done for him own remains what he himself did for his dad's remains. Sure, here is a link to Terry "Ike" Clanton's page explaining his trials and tribulations in first locating and then exhuming what he believes is his ancestors grave:

If you wish to footnote my addition by all means please do so. I would have myself but I usually screw these sort of things up. Sorry.-Buckeyes1

There appears to be a mistake in the timeline of this article. It states that Ike was killed in August of 1881, but that he was at the OK Corral gunfight in October 1881.Jmjacoby 18:37, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The mistake on his death date has been coorected. I've gone ahead and added a section regarding the details of Ike's death as they appeared in a June 18th 1887 Hollbrook AZ newspaper. The site is at: http://www.roundvalleyaz.com/acc1.html

If someone more skilled in Wikipedia usage would like to add the footnote please do so.-Buckeye1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.110.112.2 (talk) 02:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Ike Clanton

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ike Clanton's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 08:13, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
