Il Mare Calmo della Sera → Il mare calmo della sera – Italian-language style per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization)#Works and compositions, in line with Il mare calmo della sera (song). @IvanScrooge98: How about addressing the issues that I raised at the RM/TR regarding common name and usage rather than this suggestion that I've done something wrong. WP:RMUM is clear that moves may be reverted if they're contested so your focus on me is absurd. I'm open to being persuaded that the proposed title is the correct one but you haven't demonstrated in this nomination that it's commonly used in English sources. I have addressed those in the link above. The naming conventions for non-English titles seem to point to the style used in the original rather than English sources. In any case, I’m sorry if this felt like an attack because those weren’t my intentions—I just thought it would be fair to mention you lest this seemed like an attempt at ignoring the previous conversation. Oppose per my reasoning at RM/TR. Most sources title it the way it is now, using normal English title case. As such, per COMMONNAME, we follow their lead. No need to change this. — Amakuru (talk) 07:01, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per Amakuru. What Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization)#Works and compositions says is that the titling should "retain the style of the original for modern works", but the title of this work comes from Il mare calmo della sera (song) which is also from 1994. Thus, the "style of the original" would have to be how sources refer to that song and the album, no? And as Amakuru says, the current capitalization meets COMMONNAME.
