Untitled[edit]

I disagree with the statement that Ilia was actually killed by Vejur's probe. According to the novelization of the motion picture, she was actually alive but inside a mechanical body, it appears. She was being controlled by Vejur, who lost control of her for a moment due to Decker's efforts. Vejur later released control over her near the end of the film, and she and Decker were united somehow. the_paccagnellan 13:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with that paccagnellan's assertion, as Ilia is described as "that unit no longer functions", which equals "dead". The probe version contains all her memory patterns and ergo seems to be here when the alien entity releases control, but it's not like she was literally put in the machine.

I don't know if the entry still qualifies as a stub. I've revised it to be more detailed and factual and not in in-universe style. I've also added references to published works.MrNeutronSF (talk) 06:56, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
