Change Article Name to Imera Ltd.

[edit]

Imera Power is not the correct name for this article as it was never this companies name.

Your statement is not backed by any sources versus sources saying that Imera Power and Hydrogrid merged under name Imera Power. [1]

They merged to form Imera Hydragrid Limited which was subsequently renamed Imera Ltd. [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Energyman (talkcontribs) 18:35, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So, that means that as Hydrogrid was merged into Imera Power, this is the same company notwithstanding changes in its name. Beagel (talk) 18:38, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect, they were merged in to form a brand new company Imera Hydragrid which was renamed Imera ltd. Energyman (talk) 18:45, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not what the source says. However, even if a new company was established, it is still related as a predecessor. Beagel (talk) 19:22, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They are still completely separate legal entities and to link them and to consider them one and the same is totally wrong and incorrect.

The logo also has no relation to any of these companies and the logo is that of another entirely separate company. Please remove.

Once more, this legal arguing does not go anywhere. It was already explained that if they are formally different legal entities, it should be said, of course. However, taking account the nature of this mater, the interconnections are very clear and this information belongs here. Beagel (talk) 19:22, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved. Moving to Imera would first need to alert the talk page at Talk:I Imera, but is a possible followup action. -- JHunterJ (talk) 16:27, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Imera LtdImera Power – This article was originally named Imera Power. However, user:Energyman has started campaign to remove everything related to this company from Wikipedia. He moved this page to Imera Ltd by claiming that this is "incorrect title for company name" and that "Imera Power is not the correct name for this article as it was never this companies name". However, it is shown by the added references that the company has used this name; so it feels that there is other reasons for this campaign. As an alternative, it could be moved to Imera; however, this is a redirect to I Imera. Beagel (talk) 17:33, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Imera Ltd. which is what the article is about has not nor ever been known as Imera Power. Imera Power was an entirely separate company the has long since been disbanded. Furthermore the logo that was shown on the page was not that of Imera Ltd. and was for imera power ventures again a separate company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Energyman (talkcontribs) 18:08, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Imera Power should not be a redirect it causes confusion as the two entities are entirely different and legally distinct. Energyman (talk) 19:32, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We already discussed it. Imera Power is a predecessor of Imera, so saying that they are entirely different is something which is not true. Beagel (talk) 20:17, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Imera NV/Imera Ltd

[edit]

By my understanding from the Oceanteam's presentation Imera Limited (located in Ireland) was a daughter company of Imera N.V. (located in the Netherlands). Isn't that the case? Beagel (talk) 21:02, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes your correct, suggest Imera Ltd is listed as a subsidiary of Imera NV — Preceding unsigned comment added by Energyman (talkcontribs) 21:07, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
