[edit]

pKb in former version of document should really be the pKa of the conjugate acid. Edited.

synthesis reaction drawing error

[edit]

shows a ketone reactant (R1CCH3) but text states formaldehyde and methyl not seen in products. To get R1 on product, probably an aldehyde, R1(CO)H, would be used in place of formaldehyde. Drawing should reflect this, and might add an "R1 = H, etc." legend. 76.172.219.186 (talk) 03:01, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Imidazolide vs. imidazolate

[edit]

The terms imidazolide and imidazolate mean the same thing and are both commonly used (a Scifinder Scholar search gives around 750 hits for imidazolide and 1300 hits for imidazolate) so I've added them both. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.160.62.127 (talk) 16:13, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation

[edit]

A candidate for "Industrial applications"?

[edit]

Journal of Nanomaterials, Received 28 July 2016:

nanocomposites were prepared by in situ photopolymerization of styrene in the presence of 2% by weight of clay organomodified by two new imidazolium surfactants having in their structure an alkyl chain with 20 or 22 carbon atoms, respectively. Thermogravimetry showed that the new surfactants are more thermally stable than conventional alkylammonium surfactants.

, with possible enhanced fire resistance.

But, in the same period, Hindawi Publishing Corporation#History: "In 2015, after an internal investigation, Hindawi flagged 32 published papers for re-review due to three editors subverting the peer review process with fake email accounts." Can be said to be a WP:reliable source? Hope some expert helps.
