Immanant of a matrixImmanant – Currently this is an unnecessary natural disambiguation in the title. The similar concept at Determinant has no such disambiguation, and when it is needed, as for Permanent (mathematics), it is done parenthetically with the subject name. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 12:53, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd go ahead and move it. Michael Hardy (talk) 18:18, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There is potential confusion with the concept of immanence in religion and philosophy, so Immanant (mathematics) may be preferable. --Mark viking (talk) 21:39, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There is also potential confusion with the various concepts of imminence (disambiguation) and eminence (disambiguation). —BarrelProof (talk) 19:23, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nominator's argument. Similarly-named concepts in other fields can be hatlinked. —Lowellian (reply) 00:49, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
