Why this band is notable[edit]

From WP:MUSIC

It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician or ensemble itself and reliable. This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, online versions of print media, and television documentaries[footnotes 2] except for the following: Any reprints of press releases, other publications where the musician or ensemble talks about themselves, and all advertising that mentions the musician or ensemble, including manufacturers' advertising.[footnotes 3] Works comprising merely trivial coverage, such as articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings, or the publications of contact and booking details in directories. An article in a school or university newspaper (or similar) would generally be considered trivial but should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

In Case of Fire have been subjected to a full article in Kerrang! and form a significant part of the various articles about the Kerrang! tour. Note that these are not trivial articles, they feature interviews with the band and information about them as a group in general as well as talk about their single(s).

Has received non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.

Convidering they opened the Kerrang! Awards tour at around 20 different shows across the UK, all of which (or at least almost all) where sold out I'd say this point is easily met. They recieved plenty of coverage in Kerrang! itself as well as various other publications reviewing the gigs.

A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:

As I have stated above In Case of Fire meet TWO of these notability requirements and are therefore deemed notable by the project.

There is no source that states that In Case of Fire are a Christian band so please stop posting they are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.140.78 (talk) 13:04, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
