20 or 21 May?

[edit]

@Hulz46: If we have a source saying that the album will be released earlier, on 20 May, we should use the earlier release date per Template:Infobox album ("Only the earliest known date that the album was released should be specified; later release dates (incl. re-issues) can be mentioned in a Release history section.") and MOS:ALBUM (#Release history). I get that the Basics' site and media has promoted one release date, but if it is indeed released tomorrow, 20 May (that is my time, I'm not sure where any other editor lives), it should be changed to that date. Sometimes a band's sites say something different to what iTunes does. Ss112 05:54, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's already available to buy on iTunes: [1] Surely this is the release date we should be adding. Ss112 22:29, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The band officially released the album on 21st May, to coincide with a bandmate's birthday: https://web.facebook.com/thebasics/photos/a.10155327880816248.1073741828.6173086247/10155356570786248/?type=3 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.247.253.38 (talk) 14:53, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
