Essay or article about the country which existed[edit]

Under construction tags aren't meant to be used as means of inclusion of essays i.e. an AfD will be started.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 22:18, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why? This is an article about the country which existed. Therefore it is certainly notable topic.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:31, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No such country ever existed.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 11:49, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest that Provisional Government of Albania's content be merged into Independent Albania and eventually redirect there. In fact the former refers merely to the government, whereas this article essays to encompass all the aspects of the state 1912-1914.Xrsye (talk) 02:16, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • According to wp:Notability: If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article or stand-alone list.. Provisional Government of Albania has significant coverage in reliable sources (3.550 GBS hits). According to existing practice on wikipedia, governments of the countries are covered within stand-alone articles. I think that this is case of such obvious notability that this discussion should be speedy closed. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 07:18, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal[edit]

I propose we merge the Provisional Government of Albania with this article. They are both clearly one in the same. Both articles mention the same government, same capital, and same heads of state. Toolen (talk) 02:36, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose - The state and its government are different topics, not the same. The article about Independent Albania is an article about nation state proclaimed independent on 28 November 1912. It had its assembly, senate and provisional government (established a week after establishment of the state, on 4 December 1912). --Antidiskriminator (talk) 07:49, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
