I just checked wikipedia for information about the American National Catholic Church (http://americannationalcatholicchurch.org/), but wikipedia redirected me to "The Catholic Church in the United States" American_National_Catholic_Church&redirect=no
This seems to be incorrect - The ANCC is (to quote from its website) a "Catholic community outside the institutional church...guided by its own bishop". As I said earlier, I was just browsing for information, and I don't feel qualified to provide information on the ANCC myself. I hope someone more knowledgeable will see this and correct it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.54.106.133 (talk) 17:52, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for drawing attention to this error. The organization is question appears to be yet another of the many "independent Catholic Churches" in the United States established by episcopi vagantes. --Esoglou (talk) 19:05, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Independent Catholic Church USA should probably be transformed into a link in this article. Unless someone wants to significantly expand the other article to make a case for notability, it seems like it should be treated as one instance of an independent catholic church, rather than meriting its own separate treatment. As far as I know, it is a small church and does not possess unique features that would set it apart from many other similar bodies. --John7137 (talk) 19:44, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
