Two "country comparison" sections[edit]

It seems that there are two tables named "country comparison" in this article, with largely overlapping contents. But some figures conflict with each other (eg. India's population density, 396/km^2 or 452/km^2). Could someone look into the sources and merge these two sections into one? Esiymbro (talk) 10:28, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan[edit]

The current commissioner is now Ajay Bisaria. The page is protected so I can’t make the edit myself. TwoPowerfulThumbs (talk) 22:19, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. I made the change. Thanks for noticing! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 22:36, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

India Pakistan comparison[edit]

Hi @VinyS:, Can you please explain why this comparison is needed, which is absolutely un sourced. Please explain how is this "relevant" to this page or many other relation pages you have been adding these to? I highly recommend you to refrain from adding this back unless you have reached a consensus here. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 05:29, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Commentaries[edit]

NadirAli, stop including commentaries about things that have nothing or little to do with the actual subject. My Lord (talk) 08:02, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. You haven't said what it should be changed to. But I agree that there is an issue here. Thanks for raising it. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:23, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The content was apparently added here by a now-blocked user. It is pure WP:POV. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:48, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Deleted now. But the section is still not accurate. Since you are not able to edit it yet, you can work on rewriting it your sandbox. Please read through the Kashmir conflict article and summarise it succinctly. Then you can request one of us to install it. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:00, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Both India & Pakistan are Commonwealth republics.[edit]

Both India & Pakistan are Commonwealth republics, so can the categories 'India and the Commonwealth of Nations' and 'Pakistan and the Commonwealth of Nations' please be added? - (124.197.55.28 (talk) 11:47, 12 February 2020 (UTC))[reply]

Edit suggestions[edit]

Hi all! I know this page is contrversial, so I thought it to be best to have the following proposed edits discussed with people who are interested:
1. The large infobox in the first section doesn't make any sense to me. Honestly, I think it should be deleted or data from it, relevent to the article, be merged with the infobox present above.
2. I require the help of an editor interested in this article to clean up the lead section and get that tag removed!
3. Subsections like 'Kashmir conflict', 'Other territorial claims' & 'Trade links' should also be worked upon.
Looking forward to my first collab! (hopefully) SuddenlyMangoes (talk) 20:18, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Infobox you are talking about is a general one and is used on all Wikipedia articles about bilateral relations between two countries. Although for the length of the lead, I agree and am going to work upon it today or tomorrow. Regards Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 20:22, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No location of the Countries[edit]

Hey!. I'm a frequent visitor and edit minors in articles. I'm specially interested in the maps. I often visited this page, any use to find the Wikimedia map, highlighting both the countries. Today, when I viewed this article, I fount that location to be missing, which usually never happens in any countries' relion article. I urge Wikipedia to insert the map highlighting both the countries, As Soon As Possible. Thank You. Utkarsh555 (talk) 13:36, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article mixes "ize" and "ise" spellings. Please change "ize" to "ise" consistently. Here are the ones I found:

  • which will liberalize trade
  • recognize as the border
  • criticized Pakistan for
  • officially recognized their government
  • modernized nuclear power
  • an organization which
  • towards militarization and
  • the normalization of
  • militant organizations made
  • terrorist organizations operating
  • the organization found

Done, should've gotten all of them. Let me know if I missed any.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 01:49, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ganbaruby, I don't see any appearances of "ize" except words like "citizens" and "seize", and the only "iza" is at the bottom of the page, "Wikipedia® is a registered trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization." Thank you. 64.203.186.82 (talk) 17:06, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This is correct, their respective diplomatic missions are in the other country. The High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of Pakistan in India. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:00, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
