Peja

Just out of curiosity, concerning Peja Stojakovic in the "Not to be Forgotten" section, does he even count? Dknights411 03:08, 7 July 2006 (UTC) Peja definitely does not count

The J.O. Trade

Nothing has been added, seriously someone that has experience doing it should get to it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.249.101.58 (talk) 21:04, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

The Brawl and Decline

I changed the wording to reflect that the decline of the Pacers began years before the brawl with the Detroit Pistons. It began with the retiring and trade of three of the major players (two starters and one "sixth" man).MPA 04:21, 20 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by MPA (talkcontribs)

Horse shit. They were arguably the best team to that point in the season and were soundly beating the team that had ousted them in the Eastern Conference Finals the year before. Heitz669 (talk) 04:43, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I agree with Heitz669. The Pacers were the best team in the league at the time of The Brawl, just went downhill afterwards. "The Brawl and Decline" began in 2004 and ended in 2008 with the trade of Jermaine O'Neal. "Danny Granger Era" started in 2008. Also, why does the depth chart still show some of the 2011 free agents but not all of them, despite the fact that none of them have been signed to any team yet? Either remove all the free agents, or leave all of them alone until they are signed by another team. Consistency is important. (I have authored four Pacers season pages and have made countless edits to other Pacers pages, but prefer to remain anonymous.) 13:47, 06 December 2011 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.226.199.235 (talk)

The 2007-2008 Season: Signs of Growth part is incorect

The last sentence states "...improved defensive effort with the return of Jermaine O'Neal, the Pacers can see only positive in the future of the franchise." The Pacers actually traded O'Neal for T.J. Ford and others i belive. I will try to find a link.

The trade happened after the 07-08 season. HoosierStateTalk 15:50, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Then shouldn't something be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MyShadowFollowsMe (talkcontribs) 15:51, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

The history of this franchise, as written herein, shows reams of speculation, opinion and unvarnished homerism. A little objectivity would be most welcome. Hushpuckena (talk) 12:26, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
