Suspicious title[edit]

I don't know what language this title comes from, but my knowledge of comparative Bantu linguistics tells me that the title should be Ingombe Ilede or even Ingombe Ilele, and the translation should be "The cow is sleeping/lying down", not "Where the cow sleeps" (literally, the name looks like it means "9.cow 9(it).lie/sleep.PRES-IND-STAT").

There is absolutely no rational reason for the dash at all, assuming that the name is from a Bantu language (which it most certainly is).

I shall do some internet research, and possibly even move this article if there are no objections.

Some quick Google research confirms that the correct title, and also the most popular in English, should be Ingombe Ilede.

References[edit]

This reference is a web link which does not seem to work - recommend replacement or deletion: "Ingombe Ilede of Southern Province - Zambian window into the past!". I cleaned up the references because there was a new reference generated every time the same book was being cited, I think due to different page numbers being cited each time. I also removed an old template flagging this article for improved references, since it now has many more reliable sources and is much improved. Usomi (talk) 22:40, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
