Source spotcheck: I've checked all web sources, and found no major concerns, apart from one.

  • What makes awardsandshows.com a reliable source?
It is the only source I could find with that info, but I will keep searching. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Prose:

  • "experience" should be "experienced" here: "The song has experience popular acclaim"
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "'Inolvidable', written in 1944,[2] was released during the Cuban musical movement led by pianists, on which Gutiérrez participated." – should be "in which", not "on which".
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comma after "In 1992" here: "In 1992 a compilation album including an instrumental version of the song performed by Gutiérrez was released."
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "According to Rodrigo Bazán on his book Y Si Vivo Cien Años... Antología del Bolero en México" – reads strangely. I suggest changing "on" to "in" and adding a comma after "According to Rodrigo Bazán".
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "the song was not different from other that were released at the time about unhappy love" – "other" should be plural.
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Lyrically, the song presents the protagonist kissing different lips looking for new sensations " – "and" before "looking".
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comma after "Usted": "Puerto-Rican Danny Rivera recorded a tribute album titled Inolvidable Tito: A Mi Me Pasa lo Mismo Que a Usted including a version of 'Inolvidable'."
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance." – the two "for"s seem a bit repetitive.
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Mexican singer Luis Miguel released in 1991 Romance, an album produced..." – reword two "Mexican singer Luis Miguel released the 1991 album Romance, which was produced..."
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The success of the album revived the interest for bolero, revitalizing the genre" – "revitalizing the genre" isn't needed, because "revived the interest for bolero" implies the same thing.
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • No hyphen in "five-million".
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The first single taken from the album was "Inolvidable", a version that 'guarantees the adoption of the past, and that the romantic sensibility is not dead.'" – who says this?
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The track debuted in the Billboard Top Latin Songs chart (formerly Hot Latin Tracks) chart at number 30..." – "chart" is written twice.
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • comma after "1991": "... in the week of November 23, 1991 climbing to the top ten three weeks later."
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • ""Inolvidable" peaked at number-one on January 25, 1992,[25] replacing "Amor Mío, ¿Qué Me Has Hecho?" by Spanish performer Camilo Sesto and being succeeded by "Si Piensas, Si Quieres" by Brazilian singer-songwriter Roberto Carlos and Spanish singer Rocío Dúrcal, five weeks later." – there's some unnecessary info here. All we need to know is that it peaked at number one oh January 25, 1992, and stayed there for five weeks.
Fixed. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "'Inolvidable' ended 1992 as the third best performing Latin single of the year in the United States." – awkward. Write it plainer: "'Inolvidable' was number three on the Billboard Hot 100 ear-End Chart of 1992."

Media:

  • In order to pass WP:NFCC#8, the three music samples must have a rationale as to how and why they add to the readers' understanding of the recordings. (eg. discussion of instruments, melody, etc.).
I will be working on that. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The captions need to be sourced and have some level of detail. Otherwise, they should be removed as they do not pass WP:V or WP:NFCC. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 21:48, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A question here, do I have to remove the captions but not the music sample? Jaespinoza (talk) 22:39, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The samples, to clarify. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 23:29, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Manual of style:

  • Layout – the "Formats and tracklisting" and "Credits and personnel" should be subheadings under the "Luis Miguel version".

Stability and neutrality: Looks good to me.

Thanks. Jaespinoza (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Final assessment: Passed.
