ISBN for Hardcover

[edit]

According to Amazon.co.uk, ISBN for the hardcover is ISBN B0000CLQ13[1] (check out both the page and the advanced search page [2]. If you put that ISBN, ISBN B0000CLQ13, in the search box, the search result will be the correct book. On the other hand, I'm not sure if that is just some number Amazon.co.uk invented, so I'll leave it as a ? mark. BookFinder4U.com also returned the correct book if use ISBN B0000CLQ13 in the search field. On the other hand, AbeBooks.com says "The ISBN provided is not valid." My belief is that it is a number made up by Amazon, might be someone else. It assuredly is not an ISBN (which "must" be made up of 0123456789 with the possibility of an X (which represents 10) as the last digit.) I may be that due to the age of the book the first edition dues not have an ISBN. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 14:19, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for the response. I figured that might be the case.MikeBriggs 14:21, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added the ISBN number for the 1975 hardcover edition. This is the first edition that were printed with the real name of the author, and not the pseudonym. I was unable to find any ISBN for the first edition as well. --Norwaystudent 11:27, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ISBNs were first issued arround 1966 so this is unlikely to find. Thanks for the extra information. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 11:32, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:AnthonyBurgess InsideMrEnderby.jpg

[edit]

Image:AnthonyBurgess InsideMrEnderby.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:05, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
