Removal of Mission section

[edit]

Note WP:MISSION. This section does not add much encyclopedic value and should probably be removed. The tone comes off a promotional which conflicts with Wikipedia policy on neutrality. — MusikAnimal talk 22:11, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is jumping the gun to soon to propose removal ten minutes after the article being created, when it is still growing, and being improved... On the promotional note, my approach was to take a quote from its mission statement to better convey the philosophy of the organization. However, I have changed it to more dry and short wording, which I believe will not be deemed promotional. Please review the new wording share your thoughts on it.(talk) user:Al83tito 22:43, 1 July 2013 UTC
...and thank you for sharing those WP:MISSION guidelines. The mission section may or may not have a place in the article. Let me know if it now feels informational to you. If not, we can consider removing that section. Thanks.user:Al83tito 22:46, 1 July 2013 UTC
I have deleted the mission section. I see how it is better like this. user:Al83tito 23:20, 1 July 2013 UTC
