Why would the talk page be deleted, let alone the main article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:c6:ce80:1630:a141:c2ee:bb73:ba8a (talkcontribs)

This is a promotion without much useful information

[edit]

Very little of value in this wiki. What opinion exists about iai that isn't vague, positive spin 174.21.82.213 (talk) 09:56, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the same when I read the article. Came here in search for information about "iai news" after watching a reaction on YouTube from Dr. Becky Smethurst https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fqfap3v0xxw&t=791s about an "iai news" article titled "The Big Bang didn't happen", where she disposes what "iai news" does there – and it sounds bogus to me (at least very unscientific and with a hidden agenda). Reading this article here about this "Institute of Art and Ideas" rises suspicions about its nature. Christian Augustin (talk) 08:52, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This does not belong on Wikipedia

[edit]

This article is little more than promotional material for an anti-science blog (the kind that claims the Big Bang did not happen and that science & magic are the same thing). Flagged as such. The first statement is incorrectly attributed to Cambridge University - the link points to a search page on the universities news website, which links back to the IAI website itself. Also removed that statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Estr4ng3d (talkcontribs) 22:55, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These are extremely strong claims to make about a website that publishes work from a massive variety of philosophers, including some of the most well-respected and famous.--Eldomtom2 (talk) 17:47, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've only listened to the podcast thus far, but at least the content I've found has been on the up-and-up. The guests seem to span a range from some questionable ones to the most respected in their fields. Carlos-Mariscal (talk) 20:54, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
