Health vs. medical insurance?[edit]

This text: ""Long-term" insurance, including life insurance and permanent health insurance, but excluding medical insurance". The links for health insurance and medical insurance go to the same page. A description of the distinction would be useful. 91.234.201.7 (talk) 11:41, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

British-centric[edit]

I realize that this page is intended to be an article on a form of taxation in Britain...but it should be noted that premium taxes exist in other jurisdictions (including the 57 subdivisions of the United States).

Are there any thoughts to this page either being re-designated to clarify that it is specifically about premium taxes in the UK, or being edited for a more global focus?

Good point, MikeTheActuary. As the page is solely about the British tax, I've made it more specific and have removed the 'Globalize' template. Hopefully, it should be much clearer that the page is about the UK tax now.
