Confused about dates

How is it that Intelligent Systems developed its first games before it was founded? Both the list of NES games and this list here say that they worked on titles from before 1986. And were they porting Famicom Disk System games before the Famicom Disk System was released?

Ok, I'm putting more together and it's making more sense. Although wait, if they developed BOTH versions of Tennis, then just saying they ported games at first doesn't make much sense. Were they originally purposed to port FDS games to NES, but then never did? I'm just really confused. I think that either I'm missing something, or there are some contradictions to address or wordings to be changed.

  • I agree, none of this is properly sourced and it contradicts anyway, so I've just gone ahead and removed the pre-1986 games for now. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 18:08, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
    • Games before the company was founded definitely don't belong. Intelligent Systems is not owned by Nintendo.Theclaw1 (talk) 22:09, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
