Compared with other conlang wikipedias[edit]

Of course, the comparisons with other conlang websites will vary, based on whether or not we consider the Simple English Wikipedia to be a 'conlang'. I think it's more of a tool for kickstarting new Wikipedias with easily translated English articles, rather than a Wiki-based attempt to create a new conlang, but it's kind of a grey area. And it's slightly unclear what "Simple English" would correspond to in practice. Depending on if you have Spanish, German or Arabic as your first language, you would consider different words difficult. I read a criticism that claimed the Simple English Wikipedia was made by people with bad English skills for others with bad English skills, and I think Simple English often lacks the exactness of the major English Wikipedia, where the attempts of using simple words and phrases mostly lead to vagueness. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 12:03, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
