Updates to International Feminist Journal of Politics Wikipedia page

[edit]

Hi

I'm the Managing Editor for the International Feminist Journal of Politics. The current information on the journal's Wikipedia page is out of date, so I would be grateful if it could be amended as follows.

1. Please change this:

The current editors-in-chief are Heidi Hudson (University of the Free State), Laura Sjoberg (University of Florida), and Cynthia Weber (University of Sussex).

To this:

The current editors-in-chief are Brooke A. Ackerly (Vanderbilt University), Elisabeth Jay Friedman (University of San Francisco), Meenakshi Gopinath (Women in Security Conflict Management and Peace, WISCOMP) and Marysia Zalewski (Cardiff University).

This also needs amending in the sidebar.

2. Please change this:

According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2015 impact factor of 0.970, ranking it 67th out of 161 journals in the category "Political Science" and 19th out of 40 journals in the category "Women's Studies".

To this:

According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 1.031, ranking it 100th out of 169 journals in the category "Political Science" and 19th out of 42 journals in the category "Women's Studies".

The corresponding reference should be changed to: "Journals Ranked by Impact: Political Science". 2017 Journal Citation Reports. Clarivate Analytics. 2018.

The impact factor details also need to be amended in the sidebar.

3. While the journal's pages on the Taylor & Francis website are still active (and so the links to that are fine), it would also be great if the Wikipedia page could also include a link to the journal's own site: www.ifjpglobal.org.

If anything is unclear, please do contact me.

Thanks

  Edit request partially implemented

  1. Red XN Please provide references for the changes you are seeking to make. For the employee positions, a reference from the company stating that these people occupy these roles would by sufficient.
  2. Red XN I'm concerned that the statistics compiled by JCR are not the best type of metrics to present with regards to garnering a sense of a journal's overall health. Including these statistics here may cause WP:WEIGHT issues.
  3. Green tickY The Journal's own site was added to the external links section.
