Untitled 9 October 2005

[edit]

I have made a number of changes to this page: Firstly, although Eglantyne Jebb was certainly the leading figure behind the creation of the organisation, she was not the only one. Her sister Dorothy was also involved, although she dropped out of active involvement shortly after. I have also added a link to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which played an important part, and whose patronage certainly contributed to the success of the organisation.

Secondly, I have added information about the closure of the organisation and the location of its archives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbreen (talkcontribs) 18:34, 9 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
