England in Sri Lanka
[edit]England visit Sri Lanka in September to warm up for an ODI series in October, then they leave for a month, before returning in November to warm up for the Test series in December. Should this be listed as two seperate series or one? Tony2Times 12:32, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea, actually... I'd leave as is though, I think. And splitting it may end up with conflicts with anchor titles (ie International cricket in 2007-08#Englishmen in Sri Lanka couldn't link to both sections). AllynJ 20:02, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Add name of city after venue
[edit]Please also add name of city where game will be played. At this moment it displays just name of playground which is not enough for country like India because often we don't know what is location of the venue. Of course by visiting link, one can find it out but better to add name of city just after name of venue for better readability.
Thanks

'IND', 'AUS', etc.
[edit]Is it just me who's a bit sick of seeing the formatting like this? It just seems a bit counter-intuitive, obtuse and even plain odd; especially when to bring up the name with a flag is just 7 more characters ({{cr|*}}). I've just seen Tony2Times change it saying "to suit house style" but, well, I don't know of any consensus on it being the house style, just that's what it was on International cricket in 2007 when I started editing that, so I - and the other editors - appeared to continue with it. If people agree I'd propose changing them to use Template:cr or just the full nation name. Regards, AllynJ (talk | contribs) 23:31, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- All I meant by house style was what has been done for the previous 3 years, I wasn't aware of any consensus or lack thereof. Personally I'm in favour of the three initialled abbreviation as the rest of the grid is text, the countries are all distinct enough by name for there to be no confusion and often on TV teams are represented in all sports by three capitals. World Twenty20
[edit]The beginning of this article states the '07/'08 season starts in September. If this is so, why is the World Twenty20 not in this article rather than the previous season? The CricInfo scorecards confirm it to be in '07/'08 season but I thought I'd check her before it was all moved as it probably involves doing more than I know how to do.Tony2Times 16:02, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Definition of tour dates
[edit]Do tours begin when the team arrives, when they play their first tour match or when they play their first international match? This is in terms of which month header the series should be listed under.Tony2Times 13:35, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
