Improving the InternetNZ Wikipedia page

The Wellington Wikipedia Meetup Group decided to improve the IntenetNZ Wikipedia page to get it up to the standard for featured article status. This is primarily as a learning experience to learn what it it takes to get articles up to a high-quality standard, which will help with improving attendees own Wikipedia editing.

Progress

As at 22 November 2020 the ORES predicted quality of the article was Start (2.29) and the Wikidata item was D (2.18). Add key items or outcomes achieved:

  • 22 November 2020: Added authority control template and updated existing references and links, basic Wikidata item tidy up
  • 16 January 2020: Wikipedia Wellington meetup worked on improving the article for about 45 minutes, ORES predicted quality for the article is now C (3.01) and the Wikidata item is now D (2.54)
