Incompatible with free licensing[edit]

The last time I checked their terms of use, they were incompatible with free licensed content (GPL), making ICRA completely useless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ArneBab (talkcontribs) 11:38, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Official project tools discontinued[edit]

According to [http://www.icra.org/] (Oct 21 2010):

  • Upon the recent decision of FOSI's Board of Directors, the ICRA labeling engine has been discontinued. While all current labels will continue to work with Internet content filters, the ICRA label generator, ICRA tools and Webmaster support will no longer be available.

Replacements[edit]

Are there any replacements to ICRA? What, if anything, do major browsers currently support? -- Haravikk (talk) 12:17, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bias[edit]

"parents and other concerned adults make a decision as to what is or is not appropriate for themselves or their children." Biased. Glorifying censorship. Also, 3 citations? Not good enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.85.50.56 (talk) 08:40, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Relation with FOSI is totally unobvious[edit]

The first mention of FOSI in the current page text says "As of October 2010, the ICRA labeling engine has been discontinued by FOSI. Additionally, FOSI has withdrawn all support for the ICRA rating system" but makes no other mention of FOSI except in some of the footnotes.

The relationship between FOSI and the ICRA should be clearly established before FOSI is cited as discontinuing ICRA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wfredk (talkcontribs) 03:44, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
