History[edit]

Input sought on early history. At present there is a large hole in information between foundation of company in 1884 through to 1991 which it would be great to expand upon. Official Company history http://www.interserve.com/resources/downloads/about/ourhistory.pdf provides a starting point but is not in itself an adequate reference source. I'm actively seeking to source information on the part that predecessor companies played in the World War II Dunkirk Evacuation (Doggoneone (talk) 12:31, 6 March 2013 (UTC)) ← Further work done on filling some of these gaps (see below).(Doggoneone (talk) 13:57, 9 March 2013 (UTC))[reply]

I have now been able to source some interesting information on the Company history, though gaps remain. Having done some research I feel there is still fertile ground for research into the activities of both the London and Tilbury Lighterage Company Limited and also Tilbury Contracting and Dredging Company Limited. More generally large gaps remain in the following time periods: 1910's through to 1930's and 1950's through to 1980's. In particular I have thus far been unable to source much information on the early construction activities of Tilbury Contracting Group Limited. Tilbury Contracting Group Public Limited Company and Tilbury Group Public Limited Company. I also feel certain that there is more to be told on the heritage of R M Douglas. The article would also benefit from a section on Major Projects undertaken by Interserve and its predecessor companies. So all in all the potential remains to greatly expand this article, providing of course that WP:SOURCE and WP:ADVERT guidance is adhered to. (Doggoneone (talk) 13:57, 9 March 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Operations[edit]

I'm midway through sourcing citations to reference the citation needed sections of this section. (Doggoneone (talk) 12:31, 6 March 2013 (UTC)) → Now completed (Doggoneone (talk) 01:25, 8 March 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
