This talks about the Interstate highway within California, so it's part of the CA Hwy. WikiProject as said above. --Geopgeop 15:04, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

San Bernadino Highway merge

It has been proposed to merge the San Bernardino Highway article into this one. I oppose the merge, as the San Bernardino Highway article has enough of its own history to warrant an article of its own. --Son (talk) 14:54, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

I oppose too; see Santa Ana Freeway (which is incomplete) for the sort of thing that can be done. --NE2 23:16, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

I didn't merge it when I redid this article because there's too much information to cram into this article. --Rschen7754 (T C) 00:07, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

This article portrays the 10 freeway in a very negative light. Please consider removing some of these terrible images which show graffiti, etc. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.90.232.226 (talk) 01:59, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

This is better if we do not do merge on Golden State Frwy. They have too many information, and I-5 CA is nearly 70 KB long.--Freewayguy Msg USC 23:47, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Please give the distances by counties

Please give the distances along I - 10 in California by counties. This could come in handy: Riverside County, San Beranrdino County, and Los Angeles County.

Gap in Route?

Should the I-10 disconnect in Los Angeles be acknowledged as a gap rather than a co-sign? It's similar to CA 99 in Sacramento, where traffic is directed via overhead signs down other freeways to connect the two. I-10 traffic is directed via I-5, but I-5 is not co-signed as I-10 down the connection. Not to mention the portion of I-10 between I-5 and US 101 goes by the same mileposts. State Street is labeled Exit 19. --Tv's emory (talk) 01:53, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Oppose. CalTrans has always been inconsistent on signing concurrences. What matters is what reliable sources like Google Maps, Bing Maps and other display. And right now, they acknowledge the I-5/I-10 concurrency but not CA 99 through Sacramento. It is no different than the US 101/CA 1 concurrences through Santa Barbara, and the segment from the San Francisco Presidio and across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito (even the recently completed US 101/CA 1 Park Presidio Blvd interchange [1]), where there is little or no signage acknowledging the concurrences). Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:12, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
Furthermore, while CA 99 is a state route, I-10 is an Interstate Highway and thus is also officially defined by the Federal Government. And so while CalTrans does not really sign the 5/10 concurrency, the Federal Highway Administration does officially list that there is such one in its route log ("Overlap miles: 1.6 Mi on I-5"). Missing Exit

The exit 'Flair Drive' is missing from the exit list between 'Rosemead Blvd' and 'Baldwin Ave' in the city of Rosemead with Eastbound Entrance and Exit Only. It stretches from the 'Rosemead Blvd' eastbound on/off ramp. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.41.29.138 (talkcontribs) 01:49, 22 November 2014‎ (UTC)
