Speedy deletion[edit]

Why did User:Rory096 put the Invisible Party up for speedy deletion?? It certainly doesn't qualify as the entity has been discussed by the government, in hundreds of articles, and in many debates. It's been reported on outside Sweden and it has 87 300 googlehits. [1] Please reconsider. -Dna4salE 06:41, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This should NOT be deleted. --Jon Cates 06:44, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't qualify as a political party[edit]

This is not a political party, sounds more like a terrorist group. --69.232.227.54 04:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, except for the fact that they appear not to kill or maim people. "Disruptionist" but not "terrorist". Big difference and there are similar groups in America, they just don't get press. Inoculatedcities 12:37, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Throughout history, people have lived in poverty and misery. They have been degraded by hunger and ignorance, they have tormented each other and been driven into war. Yet, not everything has remained the same: The difference is that we have acquired greater knowledge. The difference is, above all, that we are beginning to display a willingness to take responsibility for each other. Therefore, it is not without meaning when we react, take a stance and, to the best of our ability, try to influence human development. Article19 02:23, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For those who missed the edit summary, the above posted by Article19 is a quote by the Swedish politician Olof Palme, shot dead in 1986. Jobjörn 13:01, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"sounds more like a terrorist group" + "shot dead in 1986" = unfortunate wording. The Olof Palme faction of the Invisible Party is significant, and we mourn his tragic death. Article19 06:32, 5 June 2006 (UTC) To furthermore avoid misconceptions, I think Inoculatedcities explained it well with the phrase '"Disruptionist" but not "terrorist"'. Article19 07:02, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually they do more than break windows. In example, one common act of direct action by fractions of the Invisible party is handing out cookies, lemonade and flyers at offices of Arbetsförmedlingen. Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 01:21, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"It ( ) does not wish to, and cannot, participate in elections." This is a quote from the organization itself. It's important to note that the participants consider ( ) a political campaign, not a party eligible for election. Maybe this should be clarified in the article to avoid confusion. POV?[edit]

The Centre Party proposed reducing job security for those under 26 (a proposal inspired by and somewhat similar to French CPE), which sparked protests.
I really can't see how the bolded sentence can be NPOV. The only fact relevant in an Encyclopedia is what the proposal meant. I have met and heard a lot of people that would reject that it is similar to the french proposol, no matter what my own opinion is. --Warfvinge 11:03, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

The article is heavily disorganized. It's... messy. Well, what more to say. Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 13:12, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?
If you would have spent a second clicking the contribs link in my signature, you would know I didn't really need that message... but hey, thanks for your concern! Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 16:39, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Osynligapartiet.svg[edit]

Image:Osynligapartiet.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anarchist?[edit]

Hi @Cdjp1, what reliable sources did you find that show this subject to have a defining connection to anarchism? czar 02:17, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It was more a tagging due to the autonomist leanings of the movement. They are often brought up it seems in discussions of anarchism and left-libertarianism, though these articles do not declare "A is X".
I have no strong opinion on its relevancy or not to the project, and it will ultimately be up to those of the project as to whether it is within their remit. -- Cdjp1 (talk) 18:40, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, I don't see any direct or implied connection between the Invisible Party and anarchism in those sources so I'll remove it. Thanks, czar 16:18, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
