Cobras?[edit]

I couldn't find the article in the supplied link. But that just sounds... weird. Anyone provide a specific link? 142.52.81.18 00:15, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I tried searching for this. The most I could find was a reference to Colgate agreeing to eliminate animal testing on personal grooming products, but no specific reference to Irish Spring. TNaran 16:39, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Tone[edit]

The last line sounds way too much like ad copy to me. It currently says "With a timely 2007 St. Patrick's Day launch, Irish Spring ventures out beyond bar soap and into the world of men's body wash. Promising men all the freshness of the Irish countryside in a bottle, the lasses are sure to like this new Irish Spring, too." Not sure how this should read. Maybe something more like "Colgate/Palmolive ventures beyond bar soap with a St. Patrick's Day launch of Irish Spring brand body wash." Heck that still sounds too flowery to be encyclopedic doesn't it :) 65.12.135.63 18:33, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I just deleted that. Adds nothing, makes the rest of the article sound like crap. Pretty sure that was an advertising agency, as the account that made that edit created their account that day, and never used it again.

Contradictory statements that make no sense[edit]

"The brand is sold exclusively in the United States and Canada. This product is being sold all over the world including the 7 continents."

Says it's sold in the USA and Canda only, then they say it's sold everywhere. Unless they repackage it under a different name when the sell it in Ireland? Are you ready for IPv6? (talk) 18:47, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sport[edit]

When did they stop making the kind of Irish Spring Sport deodorant soap (contains anti-bacterial)? Was it the end of 2008 or the begin of 2009? It was a blue, white, blue-white, white-blue soap. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.100.127.41 (talk) 21:42, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No longer unisex?[edit]

I recently bought the new Aloe Mist variety, thinking it would be the same as the previous Aloe version. The new version has a stronger "masculine" scent. So, I went to website and it the tagline says, "Soap for Men." 2600:1700:19C3:2210:4D63:8AB9:749C:E638 (talk) 20:16, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Use it anyway, screw 'em. 92.12.87.15 (talk) 15:06, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
