Semiconductors

Offhand I don't see references to iron phosphide being used, itself (nearly pure), as a semiconductor, but some old references to it being used at a low concentration (dopant) in InP semiconductors? I second that. And I know of no occasions of its use in laser diodes. About the only use of iron in any III-V semiconductor would be as carrier-recombination center, similar to the use of gold in high-speed silicon diodes. jimswen (talk) 21:50, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
