According to [1], he was born in 1747. The Congbio has "ca 1747" in heading, and "about 1716" in body. The 1716 date would have him a captain of minutemen at 59, entering Congress at 87.
He died really soon after entering Congress, but still, I find the 1747 date more compelling. Changing it in article. --Alvestrand (talk) 08:20, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
