Problematic article.[edit]

so it is, but the real problem is that we have an article under the name Isaac le Maire-- which spelling is correct? The same exact problem--two different articles, one with each name, exists in the Dutch WP. My guess is that Jacob is the correct name, but perhaps the articles need to be combined, so I asked there about it, and will follow up on it. (In any case, the discoverer (apparently co-discoverer) of Cape Horn would clearly be notable. DGG ( talk ) 00:38, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, are you sure that this is an image of Isaac Le Maire, the merchant (d. 1624)? Because the only images I am aware of are those of Isaac Le Maire, the pastor (d. 1692).
