Wolfson Hall[edit]

Not a patch on having two Oxbridges colleges named after one, but there's also "Wolfson Hall", a hall of resident of Glasgow University. I've not sure of his exact relationship to this, though: about all I can find on the web is this image of him laying its foundation stone. Anyone have anything further? Wolfson History Prize??[edit]

Any connection?

Well yes. It is given out by the Wolfson Foundation, which was established by Isaac Wolfson. HTH, Marcika 18:25, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Religion and philanthropy[edit]

There is a contradiction in this section: "Wolfson was a devout orthodox Jew.....he thus became the only non-religious figure to have a college named after him." Should this be "non-Christian" maybe? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.67.12.110 (talk) 17:43, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
