[edit]Describes SB ischemia, not ischemic colitis. Needs to be rewritten entirely -- Samir धर्म 07:28, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Agree this article needs some TLC, as Samir says. It confuses small bowel mesenteric ischemia and ischemic colitis, and says at one point "mortality is ~70%" (true for acute SB mesenteric ischemia, perhaps), and then later that most patients recover (true of ischemic colitis). Maybe we can work on it in the near future as time permits. MastCell 20:03, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'll hunt down an endoscopy picture. -- Samir धर्म 07:12, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Getting started
[edit]OK, I've reworked the introductory paragraph and will start working on the rest of the article. Does anyone have any endoscopic photos we could use to illustrate? Samir? MastCell 20:05, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Have it (several), just working on consent to get it released. May take a little bit of time but I'll get one up -- Samir धर्म 04:39, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Also, if you've got a free-use diagram of colonic blood supply, that would be useful for the pathophys section... all of the diagrams I've found are copyrighted. MastCell 00:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
