this is not a kurdish monument, it is an example of classical Ottoman architecture. I am really too tired to clean up the Kurdish propaganda in wikipedia. 78.165.235.44 13:57, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dreadfully low quality article - I suspect that none of the editors who worked on this article have ever read a book about the palace, let alone been there. Meowy 03:02, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a recent editor looking at this article for the first time, I have been there many times, but I don't dispute the rather sparse nature of this article. It should be expanded to include discussions of the adjacent fortress, the carved tomb above the palace, the restoration of the site, and the fact that the original location for Doğubeyazit was just below the palace (ruins still there to see), as opposed to its modern location in the valley below.  ⁃ Firewall 22:22, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Article is still dreary. Nothing changes. As for the actual building, After seeing it first in 1984, and knowing the extent of the destruction that has been inflicted on it since then, and the quantity of tourists who infest the place, I make a point of not going there many times.
