Istjimaar

[edit]

This page insists both that istinja can be done with water, paper, and stones, and that it can only be done with water. As someone who does not speak Arabic, it appears to me that istijmaar is the correct term for cleaning with dry media. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case, it would appear to me that this article should be revised.Rcrptmncr (talk) 16:00, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • istijmar is Type of istinja, people should to use it in some some difficult conditions, fro example "Water scarcity"... Isolation in a desolate place like (the trips to the desert) ... ect.

istajmar (Arabic: اسْتَجْمَرَ الرجلُ : اسْتَنْجَى بالجِمار). lexicon almaany look num 2:اسْتَجْمَرَ الرجلُ : اسْتَنْجَى بالجِمارِ

see also Mediator lexicon Page 134 word of ( استجمر )

From the references I've read, the practice of istijmar is not isolated to difficult conditions. One can do istijmar even if there is water available according to [1]. It says however that water is better to use. Rcrptmncr (talk) 17:51, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • yes i'm agree with what you have written, but i meant It is optimal to use both, Toilet paper "istijmar" and water.( look (number 4))

The necessary here is to completely remove impurity najasa.

I just meant that this case, practice of istijmar with stones is isolated to some difficult conditions (Water Scarcity, trips towards wild or desert)
