Change article name to Itum-Kali[edit]

When we look on Romanization of Russian page on Wikipedia, clearly letter И (и) should translates as I (i) in Latin script. This shown by examples like Иркутск = Irkutsk and Владивосток = Vladivostok. So why is Итум-Кали shown as Itum-Kale? There are two of И (и) in this name but, they are not shown in this title as a same letter. My opinion that this should change for correct name of article and village. • Both sources in the article (which are Census results on 2002 and 2010) show Итум-Кале. I am actually not sure why the Russian Wikipedia article is Итум-Кали.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:03, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in the law Об образовании муниципального образования Итум-Калинский район и муниципальных образований, входящих в его состав, установлении их границ и наделении их соответствующим статусом муниципального района и сельского поселения (с изменениями на 29 июля 2019 года) (On the formation of the Itum-Kalinsky district municipality and the municipalities included in its composition, the establishment of their borders and the assignment of their respective status to the municipal district and rural settlement (as amended on July 29, 2019)) - in Article 2 states that administrative center of Itum-Kalinsky District is located в селе Итум-Кали (in the village of Itum-Kali). My opinion that if in law this name, then we should use it here. Also, many of other Internet articles use Itum-Kali and not Itum-Kale. Sail 95 (talk) 13:32, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but certainly not all of them. We just need to make a comprehensive search and see which name is more widespread in Russian. If I have time, I can try next week.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:54, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There was 2 weeks since the last message here. Is there decision yet on this? Maybe a good idea to ask another one on what to do here. Sail 95 (talk) 21:12, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I tried searching in Russian, Itum-Kale for me shows about thousand times more often than Itum-Kali, though most of the search resuts is of course garbage.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:32, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Results for me showing different over search engines. Sometimes more results for Itum-Kali, for others - Itum-Kale. I think that the fastest way to close this question, adding a note in article that Itum-Kale is also spelled as Itum-Kali. Thoughts? Sail 95 (talk) 21:48, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, this would probably be the easiest way out (also in the article about the district).--Ymblanter (talk) 22:08, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Added. Thank you ! Sail 95 (talk) 22:13, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
