My involvement

I have made one edit fixing a few things about this article, adding an infobox and bolding the company name. Like the original creator of this article I do have a possible WP:COI with JESS3, but my efforts are an entirely new and separate effort. I will make sure I follow WP:VERIFY, WP:RS and WP:NPOV at all times. Virginia Kiwi (talk) 01:30, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

New draft version

{{request edit}} The current version of this article is very out of date. In fact, the company has received far more coverage in the past 12 months compared to when this article was originally written or last worked on. I've posted a new draft of this article here: User:Virginia_Kiwi/JESS3. This version uses good sources and uses them very carefully. I have been careful to follow Wikipedia guidelines, and keep the article neutral and non-promotional. Everything mentioned here about the company is something which has been written about them by a third-party. Please review the article at your convenience and move the article if you think it's appropriate. Thanks, Virginia Kiwi (talk) 15:13, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Proposed revision

This article has become outdated, and in many respects incorrect. On behalf of the firm, I've prepared a new and improved draft version, which can be found in my userspace: User:WWB Too/JESS3

I've also posted a request (including a {{Request edit}} tag) and a lengthier explanation of what's different about my version on WikiProject Cooperation's Help page. I should also also note that I provided advice to JESS3 for its previous COI-disclosed effort, and I hope this outreach is similarly well-received. Cheers, WWB Too (talk) 17:28, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

New proposed section and an update

{{request edit}}

Hi, I would like to propose a new section and an update for this article on behalf of JESS3. Given my COI, I would appreciate it if another editor could take a look at this proposed addition and make the edit if it looks ok. The section below introduces new information about some recent recognition JESS3 received. I believe it would work well following the "JESS3 Labs" section. Here's the draft I've written:

Recognition
In 2012, JESS3 was awarded a gold medal for Small Agency of the Year in the Southeast Region in Advertising Age’s Small Agency Awards.[1] The same year, JESS3 was invited to join the Society of Digital Agencies,[2] and co-founders Thomas and Bradshaw were named two of the top 30 entrepreneurs under 30 by Inc. magazine.[3]

I also have an addition prepared regarding JESS3's work this year on the C-SPAN convention coverage, to add to the Design and social media section, after the sentence mentioning the 2008 election websites:

In August 2012, C-SPAN announced that JESS3 had designed its "Campaign 2012" website, which provides video coverage and social content for the Democratic and Republican conventions.[1]

Let me know if you have any questions. I have this page on my watchlist and I'll respond here. Also, I do have some additions to the articles for co-founders Jesse Thomas and Leslie Bradshaw that I've posted requests for today, so if you're able to look at those too, that would be very helpful. Relocation of headquarters

{{request edit}}

Hi, I have another request on behalf of JESS3 to update this article. Earlier this summer, co-founders Jesse Thomas and Leslie Bradshaw relocated to LA, where they have moved the firm's headquarters. The new HQ is mentioned in the introduction, but the infobox and Background section do not yet reflect this relocation. I'd appreciate if another editor can review the following suggested edits and make them if they're ok:

  • The last sentence of Background should read:
JESS3 is headquartered in Los Angeles, and has established offices in Denver, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Portland, Oregon and Washington, D.C.

Here's a citation to support the new HQ location, which can replace the DC-Baltimore Egotist citation currently used in the Background section:

If there are any questions at all, please reply here as I have this page on my watchlist and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 14:18, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Images and a couple of updates

Hi, once again I have a request on behalf of JESS3 for some changes to this article. The first part of the request is the addition of two photographs to illustrate the Projects section. I've uploaded two images of the company's social media installations for Samsung at SXSWi in 2011 and 2012:

Could these be added into the Data visualization section? I think these images would help to illustrate the type of work JESS3 produces and also add some color to the otherwise text-heavy article.

Also, at the same time I'd be grateful if the following changes can be made:

JESS3 is headquartered in Los Angeles, California and has an additional office in Oklahoma City.[1][2]
  • Add to the first sentence of the Recognition section that JESS3 is listed at 430 on the Inc. 500:
In 2012, JESS3 was awarded a gold medal for Small Agency of the Year in the Southeast Region in Advertising Age’s Small Agency Awards[3] and was ranked 430 on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S.[4]

In regards to the images, I don't think we need two images of very related subject matter in the article. Just one should be enough. The 2012 one, I assume, would be preferable since it has more color and examples to look at. Though what should the description subtext to be added below the image say? SilverserenC 04:15, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
I've completed the rest, so now we just need to talk about images. SilverserenC 04:21, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
Thank you so much, Silverseren and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I understand about the images and yes, if there can only be one, the 2012 photo would be preferred. For the caption, I think it should say:
JESS3's "Smart Wall" data visualization installation for Samsung at SXSWi 2012
Does that sound ok to you? Thanks, 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 12:52, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Yes and done. SilverserenC 01:42, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
That looks great! Many thanks for your help, Silverseren. 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 13:39, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
