Barthram began his career with Tottenham Hotspur and joined Swindon Town on 25 June 2013.[2] He made his professional debut in a 1–0 victory against Torquay United on 6 August 2013 in the Football League Cup.[3]

Jack Barthram joined the Tottenham Hotspur Academy at the age of eight, after being spotted playing for his local team Buckhurst Hill FC.
Jack a defender who can play either left or right, was born in Newham and attended Woodbridge High School, progressing to earn a place in the Spurs Europa League squad in 2011-12.
Jack made his breakthrough into the u18's in the 2009-10 campaign aged just 15 years. He pushed on and became a regular starter appearing in the FA Youth cup.
Jack continued to impress with performances in the Spurs X1 at the start of the 2011-12 campaign, enough to earn a place in the Europa League squad for the group opener at POAK, and was on the bench in Greece. He went on to make starting eleven appearances in the Nextgen Series,Premier Acedemy League and FA Youth Cup.
In the 2012-13 campaign, Jack represented Spurs in the u21 Premier Academy League, receiving a runners-up medal in the final against Man Utd at Old Trafford, he continued to impress in the Nextgen series where Spurs were defeated by Sporting Lisbon a.e.t in the quater final.
