First encounter with a computer at age 33

That would be 1997. It was normal back then not know computers like we do today. It seems like an exaggerated fact. --2.245.186.183 (talk) 13:07, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

The statement is also demonstrably false. There is ample documentation that Ma was introduced to computers and the Internet already by 1995, for example http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/07/business/international/at-alibaba-the-founder-is-squarely-in-charge.html
This NYT article also states that in 1996, Jack Ma started China Pages in China. By the way, his wife Zhang Ying (Cathy Zhang) is also one of the co-founders of Alibaba and its former GM, facts that might be a little more relevant to this article than that she was his college sweetheart? http://nextshark.com/13-fascinating-facts-about-the-man-behind-the-largest-ipo-in-history/ HouseOfChange (talk) 00:19, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
