Removed Flag for Contradictory Facts
[edit]This article had been flagged because the final court case included in the text was said to have occurred in 1669, after the subject's death (ca.1665-1666). The correct court date was 1662, and a full citation (with web link) has been added so the information can be verified. The flag has been removed.
The error was probably made in the original source, the Jewish Encyclopedia article. NMLzrd (talk) 01:01, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
Slavery
[edit]This piece by the late historian Lois Green Carr mentions that Lumbrozo owned a plantation and had "servants". I assume this means that Lumbrozo was a slave owner, but I haven't seen this in writing yet. If anyone can find a link, that would be appreciated. Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 09:12, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
