Are we sure that whoever wrote this article is not confusing Corsi with Jacopo Peri? He wrote both Dafne, generally recognised as the first opera, although the music is lost, and one of the versions of Euridice, the first opera of which we still have the score and libretto (the other version is by Giulio Caccini, who apparently wrote much of Peri's version). I would have thought Corsi is better known as Vincenzo Galilei's other patron and rival of Bardi. He did sponsor/fund Dafne, and it is possible that he contributed to it, but now we really need an expert, i.e. not me OsmNacht (talk) 13:55, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps a dumb question, sorry but...[edit]

Just want to know, is the main problem questioning whether the entire article itself is fake INCLUDING the person's existence and historical presence, or are we questioning whether most of the information provided by the article is fake (but the person is real)?
