I think this might be a hoax[edit]

This article's been bothering me for a while, I found it when the creator User:Mabelina got in trouble for creating a completely false article about Michael Deacon.[1] But I've been holding back on commenting due to my inability to read french/poor knowledge of French history. There does seem to have been a real diplomat called Jacques-Abraham Durand d'Aubigny with these birth and death dates, but everything else here seems suspect. The article claims that his grandfather Estienne Durand, was a master baker while linking to an article in french wikipedia that describes him as a poet. The source given does not seem to mention any Durand's either. The same is true for the other two sources in the article which dont mention any Durand's, I would nominate it for AfD but I'm afraid I have misunderstood the french, and this guy does seem to be real. Could a French speaker please assess the extent of the problem here? Bosstopher (talk) 10:39, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
