The result of the move request was: Procedural move. This is simply a request to reverse an undiscussed bold move, and it was also requested at WP:RM/TR, so I have simply enacted it. If anyone wants to argue for the alternative title, they can start a new RM from this long-term title.  — Amakuru (talk) 11:07, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Giado, LibyaJadu, Libya – recently moved (26 January 2022) without discussion by Mooonswimmer who stated in his edit summary: ""Jadu" spelling barely ever used, even in sources initially included in the article." Unfortunately that is not true. "Giado" is the Italian name for the town, and was therefore entirely appropriate for the discussion of the concentration camp during WWII; however, since independence the town has been primarily known as "Jadu", and that is how it appears on maps and in news stories, and in official Libyan governmental documents, when not in Arabic. See for example https://ccmce.ly/index.php/en/jadu, https://lana.gov.ly/post.php?lang=en&id=199914, https://security-legislation.ly/law/33484, https://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/09/world/africa/09berbers.html, and many others.
