"Nominal strength"?[edit]

Was there actually a "nominal strength" for a Jasta? Someone wants to insert that there was, and that it was twelve. Actually the number of aircraft operated by particular Jastas from time to time varied a lot (for all kinds of reasons) and I can locate nothing (even a blog) that suggests there was anything like a standard "establishment". None of our own articles on particular Jastas mentions anything of the kind, either. Twelve is a perfectly feasible number - but I seem to remember also seeing ten or nine suggested. We do need a specific reference (ideally other than a blog, especially an address that does not respond to a click) for "numerical" assertions of this kind. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 22:52, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
