Okay, peoples. Everone knows (or at least should) that Jak kisses Keira many more times before Jak X. --RedZion--71.145.176.152 22:55, 18 April 2006 (UTC) Can we add a personality section?

That is very true, will someone edit this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.159.115 (talkcontribs)

Actually, there is never a scene, aside from the ending scene from Jak X, in which Jak and keira end up kissing. While us Jak/Keira supporters would like to think otherwise, unless it's revealed in some later source, the above line is not official.Onimura Ixmythot (talk) 18:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Editing

This article was definately looking like a mish-mash of several different writers each with their own level of thinking. There were some odd spelling issues as well (Keira sometimes as Kira or Kari, and Samos as Samous). I have fixed all of this. I haven't played Jak X: Combat Racing, so if somebody could put that up I'd appreciate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.145.172.216 (talkcontribs)

Should Jak be added to the "Silent Protagonists" category?

He was one for at least the first game but not in the rest, so I'm not really sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bisected8 (talkcontribs)

Major Work Needs To Be Done

The article is, how should I say this....lacking a lot. The article was an absolute mess before I got to it. It was just one big section, most of the stuff at the bottom are very trivial comments and notes, the picture we had before was way to small, there is no mention of Dark Jak any where except for maybe one sentence, and there is no mention of Jak X at all (as stated by the IP user above). I own, played and beat Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and Jak II but have never even seen gameplay of Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing (except for minor clips on TV) so I can't help there. If anyone who knows a fair deal of what they're talking about could edit this page, it would be greatly appreciated. Sasuke-kun27 20:39, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Removal of game descriptions

There is no need for nearly every J&D article to give a synopsis of each game when there are already individual articles dedicated to this purpose. We need to get this article to match the quality of the Master Chief article. Jrtman 22:00, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Dark Jak and Light Jak need their own articles

Dark Jak gets one or two sentences in this article, but Light Jak isn't even mentioned, and he played a big role in Jak 3. I say that Dark Jak and Light Jak get a combined article, one article describing them, as they are shown to have different personalitys, Light Jak never even says anything, so he goes in the Silent Protaginst Category, while Dark Jak could fit into the Anti-Hero Category.

-Sorry, but I disagree with this post, they're not needed at all, as they are merely alter egos of the base character (In this case, Jak) If they had their own role, aside from being conduits of Jak's Dark and Light powers, then perhaps then they could possibly deserve their own articles, but not where they stand. Picture Switch?

Did somebody switch the pictures? In the Jak 2 section, it shows Jak from the first game, but it says Jak's new look in Jak 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.222.248.139 (talk) 16:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Jak and Daxter - The precursor legacy.jpg

Image:Jak and Daxter - The precursor legacy.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
