African-American
[edit]If I am following things right, his great-grandmother was someone who was not very phenotypically African-American and married a Jewish man in what she later said was an attempt to cross the color line in entertainment. I heavily question imposing such a categorization on him without sources that explicitly show that Cannavale self-identifies as an African-American.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:05, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
